This privacy policy applies to games, websites and associated services of QuadroBytes GmbH, which are collectively referred to below as ‘services’. This privacy policy may be updated at any time by posting a new version on quadrobytes.com/privacy-policy. We will notify you of any material changes to the privacy policy in accordance with the requirements of applicable legislation, including by means of one or more notices within the service, before such changes take effect. Any further use of the service after the effective date is subject to the new privacy policy (see terms of use).

Data collected by us
The exact nature of the personal data we collect depends on the service you use and the requirements applicable in this context.
Data automatically collected by us
- Data relating to your account, such as username or account settings
- Game progress, including an automatically generated account ID
- Your IP address and mobile device IDs (for example, your device ID or ad ID)
- Information about your device, such as browser type and language, device name, operating system, Internet service provider and mobile operator
- Data relating to the use of the service, (e.g. game data and interactions with other players within the service)
- Data collected using cookies and similar technologies (see additional information below)
- Approximate location data based on the IP address
Data you provide us with
- Player name and password
- Contact details (e.g. your e-mail address)
- Profile information (e.g. a profile picture)
- Your messages sent to the QuadroBytes service or sub-service (e.g. chat logs and user support requests)
- Information that you intentionally and knowingly provide us with (e.g. information identifying a lost account or information you provide to participate in surveys or promotions)
Data collected by partners we use
- Information and data to combat fraud (e.g. misuse of services or refunds in games or click fraud in advertising)
- Information and data from platforms on which games are offered and/or run (e.g. to verify payment)
- Information that you have provided to us via a third party-provider (e.g. Google or Facebook) through your privacy settings
- Demographic information (e.g. to determine the approximate location of your IP address)
- Data for advertising and analysis purposes, to personalise content

To provide services to our players, we have a legitimate interest in collecting and processing the data required for this purpose. These purposes include, but are not limited to, the following:

Ensuring fair treatment within the service
Ensuring and establishing a level playing field within our services is a top priority for us. You can find detailed information on this in the QuadroBytes terms of use.
To ensure that our service and its social functionalities are as secure and acceptable to use as possible and free from unfair or fraudulent content, we have a legitimate interest in processing the following data:
- Monitoring and administrative interaction with user chats
- Analysis of service use and all external functionalities included
- Prevention of fraudulent and inappropriate activities
Displaying personalised advertising
To enable the display of personalised advertising within the services (including e-mail), we have a legitimate interest in processing the data required for this purpose. Processing serves the following purposes:
- Provision and optimisation of advertising measures, as well as individual functionalities within the service
- Tracking and analysis of content access

Analysis, profiling and segmentation.
For all of the above cases and purposes, we are permitted to analyse, profile and segment all data collected with your consent. If we have your consent, we also process your data in other contexts (e.g. location data to display places of interest).
Access to your data
Apart from use by Quadrobytes GmbH, your data may be used by third parties in the following situations:
Users of the service
To facilitate social interaction in our service, other users can, for example, view your in-game activities, profile data and messages that you have posted publicly.
External service providers and partners
Quadrobytes GmbH works with selected providers who support us in providing the services. These collaborative partners are instructed to only process the data provided to you in accordance with instructions issued by QuadroBytes GmbH for the purpose of providing parts of services (e.g. hosting, user support, analysis and fraud prevention).
Partners for advertising and social media
The services provided include partner functionalities (social media interaction capabilities, software development kits [SDKs], application programming interfaces [APIs] and in-game advertising). A detailed list of these partners can be found at quadrobytes.com/partner-opt-out. These partners can access selected data which concerns you and process it in line with their own privacy policies. If you have questions about our partners’ data processing practices, we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
Our partners may be able to access information relating to your device and activities (e.g. mobile identifiers, IP address, location, pages visited, time of day). We reserve the right to combine data collected from you and exchange it with external advertising partners. Partners may use the data we receive (as well as data collected elsewhere) to display personalised advertising to you when you access offerings from third parties within their networks (also known as ‘interest-based advertising’ or ‘behavioural advertising’). These partners act in line with their own privacy policies.

Authorities and other bodies
To combat fraud and other illegal activities, we may also process the information you provide in cooperation with other companies or organisations. It may also be possible that we disclose data on the basis of a legitimate request from an authority.
We may also disclose the data you provide us with based on your consent to protect our rights, or those of users or other people, and our safety or property, or that of users or other people. The same applies to compliance with any applicable laws.
Protecting your data
Protective measures
To ensure the safe use of the service, we are continually developing technical, physical and administrative safeguards to prevent the unauthorised access, misuse, alteration or loss of your data.
Data retention
We will only store and process the data you provide for as long as it is required to provide the service (e.g. for as long as the account exists). We reserve the right to check unused accounts at regular intervals and delete them if necessary (see terms of use).
If you ask us to delete your personal data, we will only store it if Quadrobytes is obliged to do so, e.g.as a result of legal regulations. In addition, storage is legitimate to settle disputes and enforce agreements.
Global transfer of your data
Due to the global nature of our services, the data you provide may be transferred worldwide, although the destination countries may have different privacy laws to your home country. To ensure that your information is still protected, we take appropriate security precautions, as explained in this policy. Appropriate safeguards that we use include standard contractual clauses approved by the EU Commission and other legally permissible safeguards.
Cookies
Like many other online services and our partners, we use cookies (and similar technologies) in order to provide services and personalise them according to user’s personal settings, to display ads, to prevent fraud, and to analyse use. By using these technologies, this allows us to save settings or track activities, for example. Please note that our collaborative partners may have different privacy policies.
We and our collaborative partners also collect, store and process information concerning your interaction with independent services that use our technologies, including cookies and similar tracking technologies. This is how we can, for example, detect the presence of a shared user or household behind multiple devices or browsers and then link these browsers and devices in a device graph. This is done to fulfil the following purposes:
- To analyse and prevent fraud
- To allow the cross-platform use of services across different devices
- To personalise the user experience
- To adapt the content of personalised advertising (for example, based on the websites visited)

User options
Push notifications
We send push notifications in mobile services. You can also object to this in the settings for the respective service.
Opting out of promotional communications
You can opt out of receiving promotional communications (e.g. marketing e-mails) by following the opt-out notices received in the respective communication, or by changing your settings in the respective service. It is important to note that the settings may not change straight away. In addition, you may continue to receive non-advertising e-mails or notifications from us (e.g. communications regarding the service and updates to our terms of use or privacy policy).
Disabling personalised advertising
You can disable interest-based advertising in mobile services via your end device’s privacy settings. Please enable the option ‘No ad tracking’ for Apple iOS and ‘Disable interest-based advertising’ for Android. You can also find more information about this at quadrobytes.com/partner-opt-out.
To disable personalised in-game offers, please check the settings for the respective service.
Disclosing stored data
We would be happy to provide you with a copy of the personal data stored about you in electronic form on request.
Additional rights
In addition to the rights already described, you naturally have an opportunity to correct or delete your data, to make further restrictions on how we process or share your data, and to object to the way we use or share your data.
If your complaint is unresolved, you can also contact your local authority in the European Economic Area, Switzerland or the United Kingdom.
If you wish to assert one of the rights described, please use the contact channels listed under ‘Contact’. We will respond to all requests in accordance with the applicable legislation. To protect the privacy of our users, we may verify your identity before we respond to your request. Some of the ways in which we might verify your identity include:
- Presentation of purchase receipts or other account information
- Sending a verification e-mail
- Questions about activity on the affected user account across different services
In addition, once your identity has been verified, you may appoint an authorised representative to exercise your rights on your behalf by providing our customer service team with the representative’s contact information in accordance with the provisions of any applicable legislation.
They may also be entitled to non-discriminatory treatment as a result of exercising these rights.
Protecting minors and children
Protecting the privacy of children on the Internet is of huge importance to QuadroBytes GmbH. In general, our services are not aimed at children under the age of 13 (or any other age as specified by the provisions of local law). The services provided do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Exceptions to this include the cases listed below:
For services that are not explicitly aimed at children, but which may indirectly be of interest to them, we take additional protective measures to restrict access to these services depending on the user’s age.
If a user claims to be under the age of 13 (or under the relevant age in their region) via the services we offer, we will restrict access to certain features (e.g. social media and chat features and certain types of notifications). Furthermore, we automatically limit the processing of personal data to what is absolutely necessary to provide the service.
If you are a parent or legal guardian of a child who uses our service, you have the option of viewing, changing or deleting the personal data we collect that concerns your child. Please use the contact options set out above for this purpose.
If we become aware of the fact that we have received personal information about a child, which conflicts with the provisions above, we will delete such information unless we are obliged to store it by law, and will close the child’s account and/or restrict the account in accordance with the account requirements for minors.
