What are the age restrictions and general guidelines for QuadroBytes games?

Our games have a general age restriction of 18 years. In all cases, however, we ask our players to observe the following provision of our Terms of Use: Before creating a game account, the legal guardians of an underage user must agree to our terms of use.

It is important to note that the published age recommendations are also available on Google Play and in the Apple App Store in iTunes. However, these age classifications relate exclusively to the content of our games, comparable to the FSK ratings for movies. These are ratings for gameplay, animation and similar aspects. Who processes in-app purchases?

QuadroBytes does not process payments for in-app purchases and does not have access to your credit card information. Payment transactions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play (depending on which device you are using). This is all done via the personal e-mail address associated with your account. After each purchase, the corresponding receipts will be sent to you by Apple or Google. Note: All post-purchase processes are also carried out by Google and Apple and are at the sole discretion of these companies.

How can in-app purchases be managed or deactivated?

All of our games can be downloaded free of charge. However, there is the option to make so-called “in-app purchases”. These purchases are not mandatory, but can improve certain gameplay elements. Prices for in-app purchases vary, with offers ranging from €1.99 to €59.99 available in Germany.

It is important to emphasize that in-app purchases are paid for with real money and are always clearly marked as such. The
purchase options are accessible within the game and clearly marked as such.

Can and should I use QuadroBytes products or services on other websites or through other providers?

It is advisable to be wary of third-party websites that promise enhancements to our games, such as those offering “free gold nuggets”. These websites tend to collect personal information or money without providing the promised in-game products. If you want to make in-app purchases, you should do so securely on your mobile device directly in the game. This is the safest way.

We would like to point out that selling, redeeming or exchanging virtual in-game currency is not permitted under our Terms and Conditions. Therefore, it is advisable to stick to the official in-game channels to ensure that transactions are handled properly and securely.

My child has accidentally made an in-app purchase in a QuadroBytes game. How can I request a refund?

As a rule, purchased items in our games (in-app purchases) cannot be refunded as they are similar to most downloadable software products. However, in exceptional cases a refund may be considered.

Please contact support at support@quadrobytes.com. In your message, please state the name of the relevant game in which the purchase was made and attach the proof of purchase. Make sure that the transaction ID is clearly visible in the document below (it looks like this: GPA.1234-1234-1234-12345). You will receive an email from Google with the proof of purchase after each purchase.

The purchase was made on an Apple device (iOS):
QuadroBytes cannot directly process refunds for purchases made on an iOS device. Please visit the Apple Supportpage. Select “iTunes & Apple Music” and then “iTunes Store”. Click on “Purchases, Billing & Refunds”, followed by “Unintended Purchases”. You can now select your preferred contact option.

How does QuadroBytes protect my and my child’s data?

The protection of our players’ data and their privacy is our highest priority. At QuadroBytes, we do not have access to your credit card information as payment transactions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play (depending on the device you are using). Our players enjoy using group chat in our games, and we actively promote a safe chat environment. We do not offer private chat rooms in any of our games, and we regularly warn against revealing personal information. To improve the chat experience, we have created a “blacklist” of offensive words and phrases, which is updated regularly.
